It’s officially summer and that means backyard BBQ’s, mid-afternoon dips in the pool and long summer nights! But before you get started on all your summertime activities, you need to be dressed for the occasion. Not sure where to start, well you’re in luck cause I’ve got you covered! The biggest trend of the summer has to be gingham. In the world of trends, gingham is king and I’m sure we’ll be seeing this print styled long after summer is over; can you say gingham trench coat?! You can opt to go big and wear this print from head to toe, or you can incorporate a gingham top, skirt, or pant into your summer wardrobe rotation. No matter which way you go, you will be the style standout star!

Trend>> Stripes
Stripes are always on trend, so it’s no wonder it made this summer’s trend list! Out of all the trends for Summer 2017, in my opinion stripes are the easiest to wear. You could go bold, taking a que from the runways and dress yourself striped from top to bottom or you can opt for a stripped shirt, pant, or skirt. No matter how you wear it, you are sure to look stylish in this classic, super easy to style print!

Trend>> Bold Colors
Bold colors from head to toe were all over the Spring/Summer Fashion Week Runways and for good reason, it screams sunshine! Now as daring as I can be in my fashion choices, I’m not sure if I can pull off such a bold trend so to make it less intimidating to wear, I suggest having one piece infused with a pop of bold summer color! Pair some denim cut-off shorts with a bright colored shirt, pair bold colored pants with a white top or top your outfit off with a bold colored blazer! The only rule; go BOLD or go HOME!

Trend>> Straw Bags and Hats
Straw bags and hats are everywhere this summer! They add a bit a texture and whimsy to any outfit and instantly make you look vaca ready! Sitting poolside minus this these fun additions will be a HUGE no-no, so be sure to grab one quick!
