There’s a reason almost every fashion site and blogger alike has this listed as a closet staple and if they don’t, they should not be trusted. There’s also a reason this items has stood the test of fashion time. It’s a simple topper that will make even a pair sweats, tee-shirt and sneakers look elevated.
Two winter’s I was on a hunt for the perfect camel coat and it wasn’t until the weather started to break a bit did I finally found one; however that didn’t stop me from wearing it until the last bit of chill left the air. I love wearing this coat dressed up but my fave way to style it is with a pair of jeans, tee and sneakers.
My coat is of the vintage men’s variety for an oversized fit and ease of layering blazers, jackets and chunky sweaters underneath when the weather starts to get really cold. It’s also a thrift find; of course and for a custom fit, keep in mind you can take it to a tailor for a quick nip and tuck for your perfect fit.
