It seems like summer went by in a blur. I didn’t spend the quality time with it as I’ve done in years past, enjoying all it has to offer. No trips to the beach, enjoying the sand between my toes while the warmth from the rays of the sun kiss my face. No sitting on the porch enjoying the long summer nights. I took you for granted. Now I’m trying to hold on to the little bit of time we have left, but its leaving me fast. I’m not ready for the crisp mornings of the Fall and not ready for my days to shorten. They say time waits for no one and change is inevitable, but I wish it was not so. I promise next year I will spend more time with you.
